NYFW 2014 : After KaufmanFranco at The Empire Hotel

KaufmanFranco the duo designers behind the gorgeous eveningwear fashion show presentation at Lincoln Center was beyond amazing, and I will take you backstage to the prep, fun, hair, and masterpiece of a collection. What are some adjectives to describe such fashion: fluid, natural, secure and precisely gorgeous in a way that encounters your senses and makes you want to dance the night away at a party somewhere!

Following the show I went across the street to The Empire Hotel, home of Chuck Bass, I’m sure there are still some Gossip Girl fans out there. I know I was! The staircase of the Empire Hotel is just so elegantly attractive that I had to share it with you, as I was still bundled in my warm jacket, scarf, and boots after braving the New York City cold during fashion week!

You’ll see me wearing my pearl Portolona scarf and Prada studded boots quite often as this was a staple piece of my New York Fashion Week outfits; style trends must fit the seasons and I absolutely loved the pearl accents.
