Catalina Island Birthday Welcome to Avalon

Catalina Island is definitely the birthday island of sun, sand, and sparkly blue beaches of beauty. Catalina Express teamed up with the island for some fun birthday perks all around the island, to really welcome you to Avalon. I really enjoyed Catalina Island on my birthday, hung out at Catalina Descanso Beach club and took a dip in the beautiful ocean! When boarding the ferry over to Catalina, not only do you get to ride free on your birthday but everyone gets a birthday ribbon along with birthday island treats to fancy!

Such as ice-cream and coffee, yes the festivities are everywhere.

If you follow my instagram, then you already know how much I love the beach. Every opportunity to capture the oceans currents to share with you is a piece of nature’s happiness that we’re lucky to indulge in! So what style is apropos for a little relax and relaxation? I chose an Amiclubwear dress over a bikini, it’s light, comfortable and feminine for island fun. I paired it with a light coach white cross-body purse and a wild hat from Saks Fifth Avenue. Instead of just going the flip flops route I chose neon yellow and turquoise Dolce Vita Sandals. Island wear should be fun, casual, and a reflection of you. I opted to play up the casual look, with a summer dress and wild flowers.
