It’s no surprise that during the chill of winter 2014 snow storm in New York City, Jenny Packham left viewers with a warm feeling of excitement and anticipation of evening wear, taking glamorous sophistication to a new level that one can’t help but yearn to be part of.

Jenny Packham’s autumn/winter 2014 New York Fashion Week collection was something out of an exquisite scene of beauty; where gowns flow to rhythmic tunes of post modern elegance that somehow juxtapositions itself to timeless nature of fashion. Defining decadence within her collection, Jenny Packham ‘s silk satins in soft caramels, poofy golden yellow skirt dress, and an adoration of sequins in an almost bridal affair was just a glimpse of her collection.

I especially love the way Jenny Packham eases the opulence of eveningwear without reducing the dress to a simple form. A sequin, with a touch of feathers to a knee length dress gives an illusion of cocktail but with a formal front. And how absolutely out of the box and stunning was the Maltinto feathered full length coats featured on the runway; the perfect addition to a daring or darling adventure to come!
