With a new season comes new looks, a time to venture out and explore the latest in fall hair trends. Whether you’re keen to your natural highlights or want to try a bold new look, there’s something in the joy of healthy hair that brings color butter hair trends to the table.
Joico just released a new line of six color butter shades. These shades are bold, bright and definitely for the color pop princess looking for those unique aspiring unicorn tones to highlight her day. It’s a commitment free way to either DIY your look or get a do it yourself touch up after a salon visit. Because it only lasts up to ten washes the color butters will eventually completely rinse out without the permanent feel of having to grow your hair out or completely re-dye it. Also with Halloween quickly approaching it’s the perfect way to bring color into your costume without having to commit. Single, in a relationship, hair color doesn’t have to be like a marriage proposal!
Joico’s new color butter formula is actually very nourishing for the hair and reduces breakage. I spoke with color expert Larisa Love in Studio City about the Joico color butters ability to maintain vivid salon quality colors. You leave the salon one way, and the color butter give you a chance to continue that “keep up with the salon look” for a couple weeks to come. The color butters can be applied on either wet or dry hair and only require five minutes before it’s ready to be rinsed for a vibrant colorful hairstyle.
Really interesting!

Love them all, but the pink one is amazing, I’m dark brunette with babylight I don’t know if I will see it on my hair.
