Fashionably Gossip Girl Leighton Meester Performs at Sky Bar

Can we recall the days when Blair Waldorf used to give us a reason to try to match our headbands to our outfits? How about the Blair and Chuck romance and who could forget Serena Versus Queen B, as they got their happily ever after’s by the final seasons end! The days of Gossip Girl maybe over, but you could still hear fans cheering go Blair as they watched her performance last Thursday night at Sky Bar at The Mondrian on Sunset.

There was something both captivating and intoxicatingly cool about the upper east side as seen by Gossip Girl. Beyond the stylish banter, it’s quirky intelligent nature and fashion evolution of couture princesses hitting the stiletto bound pavement for another day in New York City was enough to keep tuning in. And although Blair may have known for being Blair, Leighton Meetser seems quite the opposite as she took the stage with her acoustic guitar.

Leighton Meester rocked out in beautiful talent at the Full Moon Bazaar at Skybar Mondrian in Los Angeles to raise money for the manyhopes.org charity benefiting children in Kenya. She sang a few songs with the band and with Dana; as it was the perfect LA night, under the stars as everyone came out to mingle, have fun and donate. Leighton’s fashion sense was definitely up to par, with bright florals on her jumpsuit and a black little blazer to avoid the slight breeze that is sometimes Los Angeles nights, Gossip Girl style was in full swing as was Leighton and the fashionable Skybar crowd at the Mondrian.
