GBK & Pilot Pen Host Luxury Style Lounge During New York Fashion Week

GBK Style Lounge during September 2014 New York Fashion Week was held once more at the Empire Hotel, right across from all the festivities happening at Lincoln Center. After attending the Lacoste spring 2015 fashion show earlier that morning, I headed across the street to the Empire hotel to the style lounge.

It was so fun to chat with Pilot Pen once more on their collaboration with Nicholas K this season. They made writing fun by creating a dress of pens to showcase just how fashionable writing could be. Of course coming from an English major, you could imagine how smiles I was using fashion to encourage writing. The truth of the matter is that everyone has their own creative edge, but a Pilot Dress Pen is really out of the box thinking! Hmmm….there’s no ends to outfitting your penmanship in fashion.

There was an array of beauty adventures in store during GBK’s gifting lounge. Hard Candy was on-sight providing makeovers, manicures, and gifting their latest beauty collection. SONICLEAR showcased the worlds first antimicrobial sonic skin cleansing brush and sonic erasure and Skinny&Co coconut oil was cooking a healthy ready to eat!

Ok maybe cocunut oil is not exactly a beauty product, but the right diet contributes to a beautiful you! GBK is also known for including a charity in their lounge, and this seasons fashion week, Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research was in attendance. Bringing together the brightest minds of cancer research to facilitate change and enhance the productivity of treatment and wellness. Fashion is all encompassing, in fashion, health, beauty and charity awareness!
