Backstage Chromat Pushing Runway Beauty Limits With MAC

Chromat Backstage Models New York Fashion Week Standard Hotel Spring 2015 collection NYFW

Day 1 of New York Fashion Week began with a lunch at Gansevoort hotel in meatpacking before heading to my first backstage show on the calendar, Chromat. If you’re not familiar with the brand, one glance and it’ll stick pretty eloquently displayed in your memory. It pushes the limits of fashion, bringing your imagination into an edge of fashion limits and daring surprises.

With that in mind, can you think of a better beauty backstage beauty to coordinate the makeup looks than MAC Cosmetics? Chromat Spring 2015 beauty was inspired by color where you least expect it, the models had futuristic dots of orange in between their eyes and nose. Nevertheless they still looked glowy and beautifully elegant exclusively to Chromat. They’re very fresh faced and minimal and just pop with a touch of color! Chromat is very structural and diversified in it’s nature, kudos to the brand for branching out and giving the runway an equal view of the “real” girl by using models that aren’t just thin, but curvy as well. Because beauty begins with what’s inside, Chromat inspires all woman to give it a twirl in these trend forward architectural threads. There is something very postmodern about the collection, it’s runway ready to push boundaries into fashion’s fervor and zest.
