South Florida’s tech scene was buzzing with excitement on Wednesday, September 18th as entrepreneurs, tech founders, startup innovators and industry leaders spent the day connecting, networking and discovering emerging tech trends. If you’ve heard of Alan B. Levan Center mentioned before, there’s a good chance you’ve also probably heard that it’s the first amusement park for entrepreneurs! That’s because the center attracts an environment for bright minds with an entrepreneurial thirst to see their vision thrive; offering a tech hub for thought leaders.
The 3rd Annual South Florida Innovation Day took center stage at the Levan Center at Nova Southeastern University. This year’s conference brought together the brightest minds shaping the future of tech. It was full day of panels, exhibitors, networking, lunch and keynote speakers. The conference served as a powerhouse of knowledge focusing on various industries such as HealthTech, AI and Manufacturing.
The day kicked off with opening remarks from Alan Levan, followed by breakout sessions. Topics varied from Economic Development Organization Strategies to Innovations in Healthcare. Guests attended breakout sessions tailored to their career focus. Each session brought expert speakers and thought leaders to the stage, providing insights into emerging trends and practical strategies to help shape the future of tech.
There were opportunities to meet with exhibitors and discover new offering and insights into collaboration.
Networking during lunch fueled appetites and connections; attendees were provided lunch, shared ideas, and got to know each other outside of their breakout session lane. Because everyone’s focus varies, lunch was a great way to make connections and continue the flow of conversation.
The day continued with key note speakers, and concluded with a pitch competition in partnership with eMerge Americas. The pitch competition was an exciting moment that included five entrepreneurs pitching their ideas to a panel of judges for a chance to win a cash prize of $1000 and for the opportunity to compete in the eMerge of Americas startup program in 2025. There were two winners chosen Cheng Q of Enchanted Wave and Lilyana D and Jack Sardina founders of Campus Run. Entrepreneurs shared their ideas and incredible innovations via pitch decks, as they brought their vision to life.
Following the pitch competition, the celebrations continued with VIP networking and dinner. Guests socialized, enjoyed entertainment, a live DJ, and celebrated into the evening. The festive atmosphere fostered connections among innovators, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders, giving everyone a chance to reflect on the day’s insights and start planning for future collaborations.
