Leave it to MAC Cosmetics to create a fantastical wonderland of adventure, fun, and surprises for partygoers to experience at last Thursday’s MAC Playland soiree. The Mac Pro store on North Robertson Blvd held their cosmetic playland fantasy and introduced the brilliant new colors for eyes, lips and face. I absolutely loved the bright orange cream blush that the makeup artist suggested; it just gives your face that instant pop of color in the most natural way.

Guests visited makeup artists ready to assist in bringing out this seasons gorgeous colors, of course while sipping on cocktails and taking in delectable delights. I will draw a picture of the play land for you: oversized animal beach balls, stilt walking giraffes, cotton candy everywhere, pink inspired visions of beauty. The party was really a full on fantasy much like the playland collection. All the colors were just so enticing that you can’t help but want to mix, play, and add new fun to your makeup collection. I think the exciting part about makeup is the elements of surprise, you never really know what you’ll create. With the exact same shades you have the possibility of experimenting with an entirely different look. And that’s exactly what MAC Cosmetics Playland event wanted guests to experience.
