Rebecca Taylor really takes a modern stand on femininity without forgetting the feminine factor. I absolutely loved the Spring Summer NYFW show held in an industrialized loft in Chelsea. Yes we had to go up a spiral staircase to get to the packed room awaiting the spring summer collection debut of crop tops and fantasy like dresses I can’t wait to wear.
But once we were all seated, and the music came on all eyes were fixed on the awaited runway show. A trend at Rebecca Taylor was light hues, lots of whites, mesh, see-through, bright florals and yes dab of reds, which I loved.
Viewing New York Fashion Week’s spring 2014 collection in early September made it that much more difficult to say goodbye to summer. I loved the pieces of leather incorporated into her collection; it just brings the cool flirtatious fashion twist Rebecca Taylor is known for that much more on queue, popping into the fashion reality we adore.
