Nanette Lepore Florals at Beverly Hills Fathers Day Car Show

Fathers Day traditions extend far and wide! Some take their dads to fancy dinners, watch a sports game, grab a beer, or just take a walk and have a conversation that acknowledges the little things in life that are actually “big,” complex, convoluted contexts to our personalities and quirks. Fathers day traditions don’t have to be the same every year, but the tradition of spending time on dads day is spot on. So on fathers day, I first popped into Urth Café on South Beverly Drive before heading to the Rodeo Drive Concours D’Elegance festivities in Beverly Hills.

If you are a car enthusiast, or just enjoy looking at classics and fancy cars than you would have loved the cars on display this year! Maseratis, Lamborghinis, and Ferraris were just a sample of the plethora of steam these engines fancified the streets of Rodeo Drive. Nestled in between Valentino and Prada, Dolce and Gabbano and Miu Miu these Beverly Hills motors were ready for the love of dads everywhere; or at least in proximity to Beverly Hills. The day was a style file of Beverly Hills cars and of course the fashionable people all around this darling Tinsletown.

Since it was in fact a beautiful, sunny spring day, I opted for a cheerful Nanette Lepore floral dress with sequins in black white and an array of colors. Summer trends are a fitted to florals this season, and why shouldn’t you blossom your way into a fun, eventful summer. After all, it’s only been a few days, but summer is officially here. I paired the Nanette Lepore dress with Salvatore Ferragamo nude cork wedges and Black Balenciaga City Bag.
