On Tuesday October 15th I was invited to attend the celebration launch of Herve Leger by Max Azria Barbie collection. It was so wonderful to talk to Lubov and Max Azria about the creative inspiration behind the much-coveted Barbie doll; after all even Barbie must be excited to be wearing an authentic Herve Leger.
What’s amazing about the Herve Leger Barbie doll is that the two outfits that Barbie wears are original Herve Leger dresses available at boutiques now to purchase. So in essence you and Barbie can rock out in the same hot bandage dresses, matching alligator boots, and harness belt! Take it a step further and indulge in matching long luscious locks braided and flowy, becoming your very own life sized Barbie doll.
The two interchangeable dresses come in the red bandage dress and the black and white jacquard mini. Take your pick, and that’s what attendees did last night at the event. It’s going to be a challenge to keep the Herve Leger Barbie on store shelves when Barbie meets limited edition glam.
