Lets face it winter style in LA doesn’t always include a jacket. While the rest of the world is bundling, layering and actually getting somewhat excited about the winter holiday snow that’s complementary to a blustering holiday season, Los Angelenos are still ordering coffee like it’s eighty degrees out. Because so far this year our winter has been in the seventies and up, yep, bring on the iced mocha something’s because we love winter. We love the fake holiday snow, ice-rinks, and cheerio fashion staples that even we must have this holiday season.
If you’re wondering about finding some culture in the playground that is Tinsletown, our museums have sweeping views so grandiose that one can’t help but be Thankful this Thanksgiving weekend. By now you may have guessed where this is going; after spending Black Friday hitting the sales, finding fashionable good deals and catching the latest Vince Vaughn flick I spent Sunday taking in the sweeping views at the Getty Center in Bel-Air.
I indulged in some scenic Los Angeles photography capturing a day that was so crystal clear that both the Downtown and Santa Monica skyline were seen simultaneously; a rare occurrence. And while winter fashion essential in LA don’t always include a jacket, I styled with black Balenciaga city bag, grey pant leggings and animal print shirt by Joie. I further accessorized with LuLu Avenue bracelets, Moschino belt, and Prada shoes for a winter look to fit a So-Cal vibe.
Hope everyone in the States had happy shopping adventures and a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday!
