When one thinks Sophie Theallet, we’re drawn to an imagination of bright hues, feminine movements and of course that girly sophistication that one can’t help but want to be a part of. Yes this summarizes the Sophie Theallet New York Fashion Week fall/winter 14-15 collection during this past February’s fashion show. But with girly threads, makeup must be just as sultry and even seductive.
I always think that there is something so dramatic and sexy about the smokey eye, it’s actually one of my favorite looks. And I love experimenting with color, the truth of the matter is that there’s really so many different ways to wear a smoky eye. You could lay it on thick or in variable increments, what ever the creative touch allows that to mean! It’s really up to you, and executive director of MAC makeup artistry Tom Pecheux really put the perfect vision in tact to complement the look of Sophie Theallet. Makeup sets the tone, mood and vision for a fashion ensemble because beautiful pleats must match a beautiful smile.
So Lets beautify all the MAC Makeup details:
Because you could definitely recreate these looks from home!
SKIN : For the Face and Body all you need is pro conceal palette on the areas needed and finish with a touch of translucent powder.
CHEEKS : Fun Ending Blush Powder for that I’m so radiant superstar glow beauty.
EYES : Now time to recreate the smoky eye with Feline smudged all over the eyelids and around. Tip for a smoky eye: don’t be afraid to go in there and experiment and pile on the color, after all you could always take a cue tip and remove what ever you feel is a bit excess. The added shine mixing medium to the smoky eye.
Lips : With such a dramatic eye lips were dabbed with lip conditioner. Because the eye is so dramatic it gave the lips a “very sexy, very sentual, quite naughty, quite nice look” said makeup artist Tom Pecheux.
Go ahead and be your most beautiful you! Experiment, play, and recreate these runway looks from the comfort of home. But remember beauty always starts where the heart is and our smiles are always our loveliest accessories.
