After All District 12 may seem drab, but the styling inspiration behind Hunger Games District Couture is actually quite close to home.
Although Hunger Games dystopian society may be viewed as an unlikely candidate for a fashion film, it is actually aesthetically eclectic and structured to each District’s institution. Likewise fashion today is so extensive that amidst the high expectations there is an excitement about individuality, outlandish style and a dress to impress attitude exemplified by the film’s stylist played by Lenny Kravitz.
